About Us

In 2018, Stonecrop Flora took root as a micro flower farm within on our 26-acre property at Lochiel on the beautiful Sapphire Coast of New South Wales. After fourteen years working in the property law field, Sam (owner/operator) was seeking a change of pace and discovered a love for growing fresh seasonal flowers and sharing the joy of giving flowers.

Our love for flowers started with a desire to grow our own fruits and vegetables and live a more self-sufficient lifestyle. What initially began as a small patch of flowers amongst our vegetable crops to attract pollinators quickly turned into a full-blown obsession with growing beautiful blooms.

Our specialty flowers are Italian ranunculus in spring, zinnias in summer, and dahlias in late summer and autumn. In addition, we grow smaller quantities of other cherished varieties like sunflowers, scabiosa, delphinium, celosia, feverfew, and cosmos.

After solely growing cut flowers for the local wholesale market and florist clientele for the last few years, we are excited to now be able to share some of our favourite flowers with you all through our online dahlia tuber sales, ranunculus and seed sales.

Our years of experiments, commitment, and careful selection of cultivars has resulted in a collection of bespoke flowers that are easy to cultivate, whether you're a beginner or an experienced gardener. Our mission is to inspire the pleasure of growing flowers and to foster a deeper connection with the world around us.

Our flower farm utilises a range of organic and regenerative farming methods to minimize our environmental footprint. We believe that cultivating a healthier farm environment yields superior quality flowers. Our commitment to quality is unwavering and every item that leaves our farm is personally inspected to ensure it meets our stringent standards.

At Stonecrop Flora, we welcome you to experience the timeless charm of handcrafted blooms. Our love for flowers, respect for the land, and dedication to sustainable practices come together in every petal, promising you the very best of what nature has to offer.
